Group Finance Director
Location: Athens
Responsibilities:
- Leads the Finance team and ensures accurate and on time response to all requests
- Creates and maintains various KPIs and reports for our international activities
- Provides to the management adequate explanations and comments based on the finance data and reports
- Maintains the relationship with the banks
- Holds responsibility for the organization and management of the Accounting Department and its performance
- Offers support in accounting, taxation and financial matters to the Management, regarding our international operation
- Owns the numbers, provides an independent point of view on forecast to improve forecast accuracy, warns early on business performance against goals
- Cooperates with the external auditors of the Company for the execution of the audits of the Company’s financial statements
Academic & Professional background:
- BSc in Finance and MSc in Finance / Management or MBA
- 5-10 years of experience in a similar job role, ideally in a company with imports from third countries
- People management experience of 8+ years
- Advanced PC skills and excellent use of English language
Other knowledge and skills:
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, have excellent attention to detail, and work effectively under deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to effectively translate financial analysis and insights into meaningful and actionable business communications and recommendations
- Focus on results
- Ability to independently lead teams and execute on functional responsibilities with minimal guidance and oversight
