Its successful and profitable operation led the company to an expansion, establishing two new companies: M&T Electronics in Greece and Turkey. Both M&T companies operate in the electronics market, offering unique mobile phones and tablets under the brand name Fluo.
In the framework of expansion and our strategic focus on international expansion, we are seeking to recruit a:
Import & Export Coordinator
Location: Thessaloniki
Responsibilities
- Effectively manages the movement and shipping of products and spare parts in and out of the country, in accordance with the organizational policy and in compliance with the relevant local and international laws.
- Selects the best and most cost-effective method of shipping, by taking into consideration weights, sizes, values and quality standards.
- Constantly communicates with relevant categorys to ensure on-time stock availability.
- Prepares all the necessary documentation for the efficient and lawful execution of import/export activities and insurance provisions.
- Follows the existing and seeks updated import/export laws and procedures regarding custom clearance, tariffs, duties, licenses and restrictions.
- Implements import/export strategy and action plans.
General Requirements
- BSc level of education is a must, ideally in Business Administration, Logistics or Economics
- MSc in Logistics or Finance will be highly appreciated
- Minimum 3 years of proven experience in a similar role, in commercial companies with import-export activities from/to non-EU countries
- Exceptional use of English; Knowledge of more languages will be highly appreciated
- Experience in handling custom clearance authorities and forwarding agents
- Excellent PC Skills and experience in the use of ERP are essential
